Overview

Shen Nanzhi assumes the identity of Su Ying and infiltrates the military governor's residence to uncover the truth behind her family's massacre. Unexpectedly, she spends the night with the governor, Yan Jiulin, who becomes fond of her. However, the next day, the scheming Meng Ying steals her identity and becomes his concubine instead. Determined to eliminate Su Ying, Meng Ying conspires with Butler Wang to frame her repeatedly, yet each time, she is saved by Yan Jiulin. He soon realizes that the woman from that night was not Meng Ying and begins to pursue Su Ying with romantic intent. Torn between her mission for revenge and her growing feelings for Yan Jiulin, Su Ying must choose between love and justice.
