
Oleg Borisov
Biography
Oleg (real name Albert) Borisov (1929-1994) was a Soviet actor. Honored Artist of the Ukrainian SSR (1963). People's Artist of the RSFSR (October 18, 1974). People's Artist of the USSR (July 3, 1978). Graduated from the Moscow Art Theater School-Studio (1951). From 1951 to 1964, he was an actor at the Lesya Ukrainka Russian Drama Theater in Kiev. From 1964, he was an actor at the Gorky State Academic Drama Theater in Leningrad. From 1983 to 1989, he was an actor at the Moscow Art Theater. From 1989 to 1990, he was an actor at the Soviet Army Theater (CATSA). Since 1991, he has been the director of the Oleg Borisov Theater.
