Biography
Ernest George Burch (August 23, 1890 - February 6, 1944) professionally known as Ernie Stanton, was an English-American actor from London, England. He originally did vaudeville acts with his brother, Val Stanton as the team, Val and Ernie Stanton. He is notably known for his minor roles in films such as Stage Struck (1936), Hats Off (1936), Mickey’s Parrot (1938) and many more. Not only was Ernie an actor, he was a very well accomplished athlete as both a baseball player and a boxer.
