Biography

Henry Barakat (Arabic: هنري بركات‎, 11 June 1914, Cairo – 27 May 1997, Cairo) was one of the most famous Egyptian film directors in his era. He was born in Shobra, Cairo to a Syrian origin family. His father was a doctor and received the title of Beik by the King for the services he rendered. He directed some of the most famous films in the Egyptian Cinema. From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
