Tim Ransom, born Timothy Ransom Wilson on April 19, 1963, in Binghamton, New York, is a seasoned American actor, producer, and theater artist with over 35 years in entertainment. After high school, he relocated to New York City, interning at the Ensemble Studio Theater and co-founding the influential Naked Angels theater company with figures like Jon Robin Baitz and Lili Taylor, later serving as its Artistic Director from 2001 to 2005. Known for iconic roles such as the mutant Jack on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine (1997-1998), villain Frankie Dwyer on Nash Bridges, and Robert F. Kennedy in A Woman Named Jackie, his film work spans Desperately Seeking Susan (1985), Outbreak (1995), LBJ (2016), and The Mandela Effect (2019). Recent credits include Station 19 (2024), The Rookie (2022), Narcos: Mexico, The Handmaid's Tale, and Perry Mason (2020), alongside dozens of guest spots on shows like Scandal, The X-Files, and Law & Order: Organized Crime.
