
Carmen Galin
Biography
Carmen Galin was a famous Romanian theater and film actress.She was born on March 14, 1946 in Iasi , Romania. She graduated from Institute of Theatrical Arts and Cinematography in 1967,as head of promotion.In 1966, she plays first role in the movie Diminetile unui Baiat cuminte.Other notable roles in films :Ilustrate cu flori de camp (1975) , Saltimbancii (1981) ,Faleze de nisip (1983) .She play on the stage of the theatre "National I.L. Caragiale" in Bucharest . She was married with director Dan Pita.She retired from activity and public life in 1995. She then devoted herself to humanitarian actions.On February 7, 2004, she receives Cultural Merit Order in Officer rank.ACIN Award for Female Interpretation.She died on March 13, 2020 in Bucharest.
